SKI SCHOOL
Regardless of whether you’re skiing for the first time or simply want to improve your skiing technique, Obertauern offers something for everyone thanks to its experienced and certified ski and snowboard instructors. From the children’s ski school to group trainings and private lessons, every guest is looked after individually. All courses are available in German and English.
WINTER SPORTS AND OFF-THE-SKI-SLOPES ACTIVITIES

Try cross-country skiing, sledging, winter hiking, snow kiting or snow biking. Discover the joys of biathlon, a popular combination of cross-country skiing and rifle shooting at the Gnadenalm plateau, located halfway between Untertauern and Obertauern. For romantics at heart, we recommend a horse-drawn sleigh ride or hiking along the well-kept trails with spectacular Alpine views. Be sure to visit the 11-hectare Untertauern wildlife park, where you can enjoy the company of deer, ponies, and mouflons.
